Management Accountant - Hybrid Working - Bingham - £45,000 - £55,000 - Permanent

We are excited to present a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing group of PE-backed businesses in the East Midlands. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working.

About the Client:

Our client is a dynamic group of professional services businesses, backed by private equity. They have established a robust internal infrastructure to support their local offices, ensuring a stable and structured back office. This enables them to maintain high-quality local service to their clients while also offering the additional services you might expect from a large corporate business. The group has thrived through strategic investments, sales, and acquisitions, and continues to expand and that is why they are now looking for a Management Accountant to join the team and support their regional Financial Controller. 

About the Role:

This newly created position, resulting from the company's rapid growth, involves completing monthly management accounts for multiple entities and consolidating these for group reporting. You will work closely with the managing directors of the entities to provide them with detailed financial reporting and analysis of accounts and create best accounting practices across the business within the group. The role provides significant opportunities for career progression and involvement in exciting projects alongside daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce monthly management accounts
  • Consolidate accounts across multiple entities
  • Conduct accounts analysis
  • Manage VAT returns
  • Participate in project work
  • Perform ad hoc additional duties as required

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Management Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with experience in consolidating accounts. You should be ambitious and eager for an opportunity that offers progression and personal growth. Our client seeks a hands-on professional who can also collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders in a senior capacity.

Requirements:

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified (essential)
  • Previous experience working with multiple entities
  • Proven experience in creating full management accounts
  • Account consolidation experience
