Leading the month-end process, ensuring timely completion of reports, journal postings, and reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Providing monthly financial analysis and management reports, offering insights into variances and delivering ad-hoc financial reports for senior management.
Partnering with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans, driving performance and aligning with business targets.
Managing payroll preparation, VAT returns, and corporation tax data, ensuring compliance with HMRC and facilitating timely submissions.
Maintaining effective communication with auditors, prepared statutory accounts, and promoted teamwork while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Management Accountant Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Holder of or working towards a relevant accounting qualification
Previous experience working in a finance role within manufacturing is essential
Demonstrable good level of MS Office
Power BI experience is desirable, but not essential
