- Leading the month-end process, ensuring timely completion of reports, journal postings, and reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
- Providing monthly financial analysis and management reports, offering insights into variances and delivering ad-hoc financial reports for senior management.
- Partnering with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans, driving performance and aligning with business targets.
- Managing payroll preparation, VAT returns, and corporation tax data, ensuring compliance with HMRC and facilitating timely submissions.
- Maintaining effective communication with auditors, prepared statutory accounts, and promoted teamwork while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Holder of or working towards a relevant accounting qualification
- Previous experience working in a finance role within manufacturing is essential
- Demonstrable good level of MS Office
- Power BI experience is desirable, but not essential
