This rapidly expanding, international business is searching for a Management Accountant to join their finance team in Nottingham. With recent acquisitions, and more exciting projects and growth plans in the pipeline, this is an exciting time to join a company where you can make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
As Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations while working closely with senior stakeholders. You will take on a mix of core financial responsibilities and business improvement projects, offering a well-rounded, varied role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting.
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Overseeing transactional finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control.
- Acting as the key finance contact for payroll, ensuring accurate processing and compliance.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Supporting intercompany reconciliations and assisting with multi-entity reporting requirements.
- Contributing to process improvements, system enhancements, and finance transformation projects.
- Providing insight and analysis to support senior leadership in decision-making.
- Assisting with compliance, audit preparation, and financial governance initiatives.
- Involvement in ad hoc project work such as finance system upgrades and data migration projects
What We're Looking For…
We are seeking a proactive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or be qualified by experience (QBE).
- Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and transactional finance processes.
- A self-motivated and highly organised approach, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across the business.
- Previous experience with ERP systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
Package:
- Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
- Annual bonus based on company performance.
