Job Purpose
  • Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure budgets, deadlines and clients’ expectations are met
  • Supervision and preparation of management accounts
  • Involvement in ad-hoc work projects to further support Senior Managers and Directors
  • Oversee client workflow and internal management of resources
  • Supervise junior staff by reviewing work and supporting their professional development
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, dealing with queries quicky and effectively
  • Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency across the wider department
  • Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations
  • Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities where possible

Job Requirements
  • ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
  • Qualified by experience would also be considered
  • A proven track record of managing a client portfolio within practice
  • Strong working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
  • Excellent financial modelling and data interpretation skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation
  • A team player who can also work autonomously
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Keen to progress within the firm by learning from the team
