Job Purpose
- Prepare accounts for a significant client portfolio of micro, small and medium sized companies.
- Prepare corporation tax returns.
- Liaise directly with clients, proactively handing queries and building trusted relationships.
- Support senior team members with complex accounting issues.
- Monitor commercial aspects of your portfolio, reporting directly to Partners.
- Promote and strive for customer service excellence and set an example to junior staff as a hands-on and proactive Senior Accountant.

Job Requirements
- Qualified or soon to be qualified with previous UK practice experience.
- Qualified by impressive UK practice experience would also be considered.
- Adept a preparing accounts for small to medium sized entities.
- Experience preparing corporation tax returns.
- Audit exposure and training can be provided if desired, but not required.
- Working knowledge of accounting software, including Sage, QuickBooks, cloud software, and CCH.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and able to oversee workflow.
- A team player able to bring out the best in others.
- Confidently mentor junior team members, in a positive and constructive manner
