We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join a leading asset management team. This newly created position within the finance team offers an exciting dual opportunity to manage a number of renewable infrastructure Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and to improve financial output, processes, and controls within the asset management function.The successful candidate will have full financial responsibility for a small portfolio of renewable infrastructure assets. This will include reviewing management and statutory accounts, tax and VAT returns, and payment runs, as well as managing SPV audits and preparing annual budgets. The role also involves maintaining rolling distribution forecasts, managing debt compliance, and preparing board packs for SPVs. Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising with technical asset managers and fund leads.A key aspect of the role is to review the current output of the finance team and the scope of services within the asset management agreements. You will identify gaps and work on designing and implementing improvements to enhance the delivery of financial management processes and controls.You will also drive change within the finance team, promoting best-in-class SPV management practices. The role requires strong collaboration with the technical asset managers and the finance team to foster a unified approach to service delivery.The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in SPV management, with specific experience in renewable or infrastructure assets. You must be a qualified accountant with a minimum of three years post-qualified experience (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). You should be a strategic thinker capable of leading projects, with a proven track record of implementing improvements in financial management. A proactive, self-starting attitude is essential.Salary and Benefits:

This role can be based in London; however, the finance team is located in Nottingham, so frequent travel to Nottingham will be required.
