A dynamic and well-established company in the heart of Nottingham City Centre is looking for a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their small but busy Accounts Department. They are committed to delivering excellence in financial management and ensuring smooth accounting operations.

Nottingham City Centre -NG1 (no parking)

Mon -Fri- 9.00am- 5.30pm (one hour lunch)

£27,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Processing receipts and payments
  • Checking and processing invoices and financial transactions
  • Setting up electronic payments
  • Managing the purchase ledger
  • Handling petty cash transactions
  • Reconciling company credit cards
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounts role
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and VAT regulations
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to work efficiently in a team
  • Experience in a professional services environment is desirable (but not essential)
