Macildowie are working with a great business based in central Nottingham, who are lookingto recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant on a contract basis until end of February 2026.

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week with hybrid working considered after probation. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm.

The salary on offer is £26,500 - £27,500 per annum.

Working as part of a central finance team, you'll be supporting the Accounts Payable Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient invoice processing and supplier management. You'll play a key part in the trust's wider financial operations, processing high volumes of data accurately and efficiently.

The role will involve:

  • Converting purchase requisitions into POs

  • Processing invoices, matching to GRNs

  • BACS payment runs and reconciliations

  • Supplier account setup and maintenance

  • Liaising with suppliers and internal budget holders

  • Assisting with audit preparation

You will need:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable.

  • Solid knowledge of Excel and financial systems

  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively
