I am recruiting a temporary to permanent Finance Assistant for a business in central Leicester. This is a role suitable for people with previous experience of working in a Finance role in the Public Sector or Not for Profit industry.

Description
The Finance Assistant will:
- Process invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with financial report preparation
- Manage petty cash transactions
- Ensure financial records are kept up to date
- Collaborate with the team to improve financial processes
- Assist with budget preparation
- Assist with any ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A good grasp of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent numerical skills
- High attention to detail
- The ability to work efficiently in a team
- Strong communication skills
Job Offer
The Finance Assistant can expect an hourly wage of 12.50 - 14.00 + 3 days home working + an immediate start + a temporary position initially with the potential for a permanent role + study support for AAT / ACCA/ CIMA
