SF are currently recruiting for an exciting role as a Semi-Senior Accountant to work in a fun and flexible Practice. This role offers flexible hours/early finish on Fridays, 2 days working from home, bonuses on top of your salary and a great opportunity to develop and progress. Role is based in Nottingham on a full time, permanent basis. They also have a rule of no over time! You don't need Practice experience for this role. Salary up to £35,000 (Dependent on experience) + Bonus Study support 2 days working from home Full time 36.5 hours (Early finishes on Fridays) 20 holidays + Bank Holidays (this increases each year by 1 until 8 days, this will be after 2 years service) Job duties: The job could involve all aspects of client service and would include limited company clients' accounts, tax returns and ad hoc work such as bookkeeping and payroll. You will play a crucial role in this firm's team and be rewarded with a competitive salary. Flexibility may be on offer to those who need reduced or altered working hours. Some hybrid working is available. - Preparation of year-end accounts up to review stage. - Preparation of clients' VAT returns. - Develop good working relationships with clients to advise where applicable and necessary. - Ad hoc responsibilities involving payroll and bookkeeping when required. The ideal candidate will have the following: Some Accounting experience in Month or Year - End Studying AAT Team Player as this is a great working environment Ambitious Excellent attention to detail
