Role: Business Support Associate - AssetsLocation: NottinghamSalary: £26,208 Per AnnumContract: Permanent, full-time. Hours: Flexible (30-40 hours per week). Hays have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Associate to join our Asset & Fleet team at a leading Facilities Management company, based in Nottingham. Reporting to the Head of Assets, you will be delivering extensive high-quality support, ensuring you deliver an exceptional service, every single day.Responsibilities.In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Head of Assets & Fleet, as well as the Assets team. You will also be required to assist with the movement of assets, both physical and using our online software (SAP, COUPA, EXCEL). You must ensure all records on our third-party software are accurate and up to date for all winter operations, as well as with commercial vehicles and cars.We have an asset register of 8000 items, including but not limited to salt spreaders, fleet vehicles, and company cars, as well as other mechanical equipment, which you will be responsible for scheduling repairs as and when required, as well as scheduling regular maintenance for all machinery to prevent future breakdowns.It is your responsibility to ensure all services delivered are consistent and in line with company expectations and service level agreements (SLAs), paying particular attention to resolving reactive issues and responding to all customer enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.To be successful in this role, it is essential you have strong communication skills as regular contact with a variety of stakeholders will be required throughout the average working day. You will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers. You will also need to have a good understanding of IT systems, specifically SAP, COUPA, and EXCEL, as you will be using these systems on a daily basis.What we are looking for.
- Experience of working within an administrative or a similar support role is essential.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure within a busy and diverse environment.
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent phone manner.
- Keen eye for detail and ensure data input accurately and displayed professionally.
- An excellent understanding of operational IT systems (SAP, COUPA, EXCEL)
- The successful candidate should be a self-starter and motivated person, with the ability to invest time in this role to aid its evolution.
