Job Description: Field Technician (Contract)

We are seeking a Field Technician to join our team. Candidates must have experience operating 360 excavators, a valid driver’s license, and access to their own vehicle. This hands-on role involves the inspection, repair, and maintenance of assets, with a focus on ground and civil works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate 360 excavators and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance of assets to high standards.
  • Conduct tasks including meter installation, tank cleaning, pipework modification, and general site maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to optimize productivity and ensure task completion.
  • Maintain flexibility across a variety of tasks, including operational incidents and participation in an on-call rota.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and contractual guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Essential: Experience with 360 excavators and dumpers.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
  • Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on tasks.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices and the ability to follow risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight for training when needed.
  • Self-motivated and flexible, with problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in civil works, plumbing, or similar fields.
  • Exposure to water/sewage asset maintenance or O&M activities.
