We are currently looking to recruit a workshop technician to join us with immediate effect.

Daily duties include but not limited to:

  • Maintenance, service and repair of hire equipment returned from customers including portable HVAC
  • Reporting trends with product failures to the General Manager
  • PAT testing of electrical products after repair and quality checks on electrical equipment
  • Handling fault diagnostic and technical phone calls from customers
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop and work area at all times
  • Occasional site visits within the UK to carry out maintenance and repairs that may involve an overnight stay, a clean driving license is essential

A good working knowledge of petrol engines, diesel and propane fired heaters, wiring diagrams and electrical systems coupled with PAT testing experience would be ideal for any individual applying for this position.

You will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, honesty, commitment, enthusiasm, integrity, and the willingness to learn.

Ideally you will have a proven record in a workshop environment, be a confident and effective communicator with time management and planning skills coupled with knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes.
