Tek Troniks is a leading manufacturer of wireless monitoring systems serving a wide range of sectors across the UK. We are seeking an additional Installation and Calibration Engineer to join our field team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work across the UK and make a direct impact on our customer operations.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and on-site servicing of Tek Troniks monitoring systems, as well as the calibration of customer temperature and humidity probes. It involves direct customer interaction, including service and support visits.
While experience is not required, as full training will be provided, candidates should be comfortable with travel and up to 3-4 nights away per week.
Additional Information
Tek Troniks offers a standard 40-hour work week, which may include early starts, late finishes, and some overnight stays. Weekend work is rare but may be required on occasion.
The successful candidate needs to be live within commutable distance of our offices in Cotgrave for the collection and return of systems and calibration equipment.

Key Responsibilities
System Installation
- Review and approve installation risk assessments.
- Install systems to meet both company and customer standards.
- Train customer staff on system operation.
- Complete and document installation sign-offs.
Calibration
- Conduct on-site calibrations for temperature and humidity probes.
- Ensure accurate completion of calibration documentation.
- Service and Support
- Address customer issues in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Conduct diagnostic and troubleshooting visits to customer sites.
- Document actions taken and provide customer feedback.
Reporting
- Submit detailed documentation of completed installations and calibrations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all reports to relevant managers.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or equivalent) preferred
- Competencies: Strong time management, communication, and organisational skills; basic proficiency with hand tools; ability to obtain an IPAF licence for scissor and boom lift operation.
