Summary:
A leadingmMain contractor is actively seeking a Lead Structural Design Engineer to join our OHL Design team, supporting  Construction projects. The role entails leading, coordinating, and producing structural engineering solutions for OHL and Substation construction projects. The Lead Structural Design Engineer will ensure design projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Key responsibilities include managing overhead line design activities, acting as a project lead and senior design resource, and providing technical advice and support to both internal and external clients. The role also involves developing design processes, training manuals, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.

Skills:
Advanced expertise in steel lattice structure design.
Proficiency in managing and coordinating design projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
Ability to provide technical advice and support.
Experience in developing design processes and training materials.
Up-to-date knowledge of National Grid, SPEN, ENA, and other relevant industry standards.
Proficiency in resource management and reporting.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to review and assess contract programs.
Commitment to safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Certifications & Standards:
B.Eng or BSc in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering with honours, or HND.
