The role


As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing product quality, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and driving continuous improvement. Youll work closely with engineering, production teams, customers, and suppliers to address quality-related issues, including:

  • Reviewing in-house and supplier quality procedures
  • Conducting and supporting quality investigations
  • Compiling and reviewing Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQPs)
  • Inspecting in-house and third-party supplied products
  • Compiling and maintaining formal lifetime quality records for customer approval
  • Resolving customer concerns using root cause analysis tools like 8D
  • Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs)
  • Developing and improving production standards, testing protocols, and compliance measures
  • Testing sinks and taps to ensure compliance with required standards
  • Arranging third-party inspections as required by MQPs
  • Supporting lean manufacturing initiatives and waste reduction projects


To excel in this role, youll need:

  • A deep knowledge and understanding of ISO9001 & auditing
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with British Standards and experience in a QA/QC environment
  • The ability to write and present reports to stakeholders
  • A full UK driving license
