My client is a well- established, successful multidisciplinary Consultancy. With offices around the UK, they are a busy, growing team and they are actively seeking an enthusiastic Senior Structural Engineer to join their design team in Nottingham.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering interesting projects across the commercial, residential, industrial, health, hospitality and leisure sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging assignments, collaborating with architects, building services engineers and other professionals within the construction industry.

Key Duties for this Senior Structural Engineer role include:

  • Assist in leading the structural design of projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Liaison with clients, architects and contractors to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
  • Undertaking design reviews and checking in accordance with our QA procedures.
  • Making site inspections and assessments to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Inspecting existing structures and preparing technical reports.
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (ICE and / or IStructE) OR working towards
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering, including design, analysis, and team management.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Masterseries.
  • Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD or Revit) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
