My client a leader in automation technology are actively recruiting for a Solutions Design Engineer. As a Solutions Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and delivery of operational processes and fulfilment solutions for automated distribution warehouses and manufacturing facilities across the UK.
- This role offers you the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the design of their solutions ensuring that they maximise productivity, cater to the clients demands and offer the most efficient solutions.
- You will deal withall aspects of sizing and capacity, operational metrics and layout of the site including material handling, automated and refrigeration equipment. Identifying business requirements, considering operational flow and designing productive, ergonomic solutions.
- To be successful in the position of Solutions Design Engineer and join the business on this exciting journey, you will need experience of designing operational solutions within warehousing, engineering, supply chain, e-commerce, manufacturing or similar, exposure to project management and preferably qualifications in engineering and/or design.
- You will have excellent IT and numerical skills, a strong analytical mind-set and a proactive approach to working. You will be a good mentor and communicator and you will have a motivated and driven personality.
