Introduction

Our client is seeking a talented Architect to join their award-winning team of construction specialists based in Nottingham. The company provides services including architectural design, building surveying, and health and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects and further develop your skills within a supportive and innovative environment.

Main Duties

  • Develop and present design concepts tailored to client requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings and specifications using Revit software.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders across all RIBA stages.
  • Ensure adherence to building regulations, planning permissions, and safety standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, addressing any issues as they arise.
  • Manage project budgets, fees, and timelines, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, emerging materials, and new technologies.
  • Assist with the preparation of bids and proposals for securing new projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Provide support and leadership to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

What Are We Looking For?

  • RIBA Part 3 qualification with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven expertise in architectural design and effective project management.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations and planning policies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work within a team.
  • Creative and detail-oriented problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with sustainable design practices is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for site visits and client meetings.
