A nationally recognised Asbestos Consultancy is now recruiting in the Midlands region for a hardworking and diligent Asbestos Surveyor. You will be covering various sites including Educational, Industrial, Leisure and Healthcare. You will be responsible for carrying out the full range of surveying duties in line with HSG 264 guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, our client would give consideration to candidates with minimal experience within the Asbestos Industry who are looking for a new challenge. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors including Health & Safety.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Derby, Beeston, Leicester, Market Harborough, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Corby, Stoke-on-Trent, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Coalville, Tamworth, Walsall, Telford, Shrewsbury, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa. Warwick, Solihull, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Worksop, Mansfield, Scunthorpe.
Experience & Qualifications:
" BOHS P402 (Mandatory)
" Hands on experience working for an Asbestos Consultancy as an Asbestos Surveyor.
" Will have excellent practical knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Will be able to confidently use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Organising workload in line with company and client needs.
The Role:
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines to carry out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Ensuring to carry out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Sampling suspected ACMs on site, making sure to bag and label prior to sending for analysis.
" Using industry recognised systems to produce detailed reports (TEAMS / TRACKER) as well as proof reading reports prior to handing over to clients.
" Delivering Asbestos Awareness briefings.
