Cherry Professional is proud to recruit on behalf of our client for an exciting Business Development Executive opportunity. This role is pivotal in driving sales, retaining customers, and maximising profitability within an assigned geographical territory. Working closely with a field-based Business Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing business performance while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is paying 25,000 and is fully on site based in Nottingham.

The Role:
In this position, you will:
  • Work collaboratively with a field-based Business Manager to achieve sales targets, profitability, and customer retention goals.
  • Actively prospect and contact potential customers, securing appointments and managing a CRM tool to ensure accurate data tracking.
  • Manage and grow an assigned customer base, addressing queries, promoting new products, and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Ensure out-of-contract customers are retained and negotiate deals with external partners.
  • Maximise penetration of new products and services, keeping abreast of market trends and developments.
Key Skills:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven negotiation skills and a persuasive, professional demeanour.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Sales experience and a strong understanding of account management best practices.
