Each of our nine community shops has a Community Shop Manager and Assistant Community Shop Manager, as well as a large team of volunteers. This team drive the shop in their local community. Our shops focus on empowering staff and volunteers to maximise their potential.

Flexible Assistant Community Shop Managers support shops when management cover is low. Therefore, the post holder will work with different groups of volunteers and staff on a regular basis. Being able to motivate and support different teams, whilst embracing working in different locations is essential for this role.

We welcome applicants who can cover only a couple of locations occasionally as well as individuals who are keen to experience all our shop locations. This role allows the post holder to work when it suits them, and to take on as many or as few hours as required. Hours are offered to our flexible staff based on shop needs, and can be accepted or rejected based on other commitments.
