Your new roleThe Junior Customer Service Manager will work closely with the Customer Service Manager to support in leading and supporting the customer service employees. This role will be crucial for ensuring customer outcomes as you support in implementation and day-to-day execution of the customer service strategy, managing operations and encouraging the customer-first mindset of the organisation. It will also be crucial to collaborate with other departments, including compliance and underwriting for a seamless service and compliance with standards. This role also includes mentorship of customer service team members, tracking team performance, customer feedback and complaints and using these insights to assist senior management in business decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service and financial services (essential).
  • Understanding of UK financial services or experience in high-cost short-term lending.
  • Experienced in using Salesforce and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships on all levels.
  • A passion for customer service and an ability to analyse customer service metrics for actionable improvement insights.
  • Strong team leadership and people development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
