Candidates should have relevant experience and be prepared for a 3-hour paid induction followed by 2 weeks of on-the-job training.

Our long established logistics client based in Nottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis

Job Description.

Work involves Class 2 HGV Deliveries to Public Houses around the region. You will be supported by a Drivers Mate, but you will also be expected to help with the deliveries which is involves moving heavy items into our clients customers premises.

Initially you will be given an interview for the position, if you are successful at this point, you will be put through a 3 hour induction (paid) then 2 weeks on the job training. If then successful at this point you will be then booked ongoing Monday to Friday (Start Times 0400am to 0600am) until further notice.

Again ongoing Monday to Friday work for the right candidate.

Licence requirements:

HGV Class 2 licence (no more than 6 points for minor offenses)

Up to date CPC for your Class 2

Up to date Digi card for your Class 2

You Must:

Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic

Be punctual

Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)

Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard

Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Weekdays per hour: £15.00 ph (pay rate for this position only)
