Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in supervising kitchen staff and coordinating daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu.
- Ensure that all food production meets safety and hygiene standards.
- Help manage food inventory, including ordering and stock rotation.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts with creativity in food presentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
