A Senior Business Development Manager - Components, Consumables to Utilities, Power Gen, Water, Telecomms role offering excellent earnings potential and definite career progression potential with a dynamic, multinational, successful and expanding consumables, components, MRO and equipment supply chain service, vendor rationalisation and vending and product service and solutions provider, covering the UK   BASIC SALARY: £55,000- £65,000 poss flexibility upwards   BENEFITS:· £70,000- £85,000 OTE- open ended · Company Car or Generous Car Allowance · Contributory Pension · Health Cover · Full Out of Pocket Expenses, Company CreditCard · Full Home, Remote Communications Package including Laptop, Mobile Phone etc · Full Corporate Benefits Package   LOCATION: UK Wide   COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Ideally anywhere between the M4/M25 and M62 Corridors reasonably centrally based.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Business Development Manager, Sales Manager -  Industrial Consumables, Components MRO and Equipment Supply Chain Solutions to Utilities, Power Gen, Water, Telecomms   · A mix of  new business with some developing and up selling added value solutions to existing allocated accounts. There is a lot of potential to sell the company's added value service propositions to potential customers which give them extra operational efficiency, for example labour saving packaging, on-site Kanban and vending solutions and tailoring the products supplied to their specific need or requirements. · Targeting utilities, power gen, distribution network operators (DNOs), independent connection providers (ICPs), water, telecomms and associated main, electrical and sub contractors  The company has an extensive database to work from, but you will also be using your own market knowledge and research and generating your own leads. · Ideally you will be looking to knock a competitor out of the potential customer by providing the whole supply chain solution for their electrical and non electrical component MRO and equipment needs. · This is often a long lead time sales process involving multi-presentations and meetings as it is often a strategic decision for the potential customer. · My client has a network of branch locations with whom you will work and liaise closely.   PERSON SPECIFICATION: Senior Business Development Manager, Sales Manager -  Consumables, Components MRO and Equipment Supply Chain Solutions to Utilities, Power Gen, Water, Telecomms.   · To be considered for this potentially very rewarding role financially and in terms of career progression, you will need experience of, and success in, a similar senior  business development role selling to utilities, power gen, water, telecomms etc and associated contractor markets at board level. · Ideally this will be in big ticket industrial consumable, components, electrical and non-electrical MRO, and vendor rationalisation including vending equipment solutions/ services or related areas like PPE, work wear, tools  etc. · You will have the drive and ambition to drive your career forward.   THE COMPANY:  Established over 50 years my client is a $23bn annual turnover corporation operating worldwide with a £3b+n turnover and 1,800 personnel in Europe. They have a very well established UK operation of 650 personnel and a large structured sales and sales management function of 230 personnel. They provide a range of electrical, electronic components, fasteners and consumables to industrial OEM and MRO markets on a "just-in-time" (JIT), KanBan, inventory system basis. A household name in the United States, the company is very well established in the UK and EMEA, with a very well- earned reputation for the quality of their service.
