THE ROLE - Business Development Manager:
- You will be promoting an award-winning pitched roof system into the new-build housing sector.
- This is a prefabricated 'room in a roof’ pitched roof system that is fully insulated, and incorporates dormers, chimneys, roof windows, and of course a room in the roof
- This has been incredibly well received by the national and regional house builders, as it saves them time, takes away the impact of bad weather and reduces their time working at height
- You will be tracking and winning new-build projects with national and regional housebuilders
- In the main you will be winning new developments from the regional offices of house builders that are already in place, but you will also be expected to prospect and win business from regional developers
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT - Business Development Manager:
- Most importantly you will have some field sales experience from with the construction industry / building materials sector
- Applicants with experience of selling into house builders or developers will be readily received, but this is not essential
- You will be as comfortable account managing and developing existing relationships, as you are prospecting and winning new business
- My client is not looking for the finished article, and is happy to train, develop and support someone with the right energy, attitude and drive
