Sales Executive - Insulation / Heating / Ventilation

Our excellent client in Nottingham is currently looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their growing team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Sales Executive will be responsible for promotion and expansion of products to existing and potential customers in the fire protection/insulation market. This would best suit a commission driven and proactive sales individual as you can earn up to 80% of your salary on commission earnt from completed projects, plus company bonuses.

Responsibilities:

- Promote fire protection products to key stakeholders, including procurement teams, site managers, small business owners, contract managers, insulation contractors, distributors, and end users like hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings.

- Communicate with existing and potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn.

- Use internet search engines, LinkedIn, and trade publications to prospect new business.

- Identify new markets and customers for the company’s products and applications.

- Maintain a customer database in CRM, ensuring clients are managed to maximise business opportunities.

- Use CRM to track prospects and estimate potential annual spending for better budgeting and forecasting.

- Collaborate with internal Sales Engineers to respond to tenders and secure business.

- Manage the proposal process from initial contact to product delivery, working with the wider sales and operations staff.

- Assist the Operations Team in responding to customer delivery requests and resolving issues.

- Track sales activity and submit relevant reports.

- Follow up on sales actions to ensure timely completion.

Key Attributes

- Previous experience within outbound sales

- Knowledge of insulation, heating or ventilation markets.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Top-notch communication skills and ability to talk to individuals at all levels.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 4:45pm (1:30pm Early Friday finish!)

Salary: Up to £32,000 basic salary + commission (Up to 80% of basic salary) + company bonus scheme (15%) + benefits including:

Please note: Whilst this role is able to offer hybrid work. It is NOT able to offer the role as fully remote, therefore, you will be expected to attend the office in person for the entire duration of the training period, and then any hybrid working thereafter.
