Sonic Summary

The position is for a Technical Sales Manager with a salary range of £50K - £60K, depending on experience, plus an additional commission of approximately £20K-£30K.
The role involves maximizing machinery sales of food packaging equipment for a well-known OEM in the industry.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in selling capital machinery in a field-based role.
The job requires knowledge of food manufacturing sectors such as fish, meat, poultry, confectionary, and dairy, along with a willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Location Based from home with travel to customer sites in the UK.

We are recruiting a technical sales manager for a well-known food packaging OEM who are looking for to maximise machinery sales of food packaging equipment.

Technical sales manager responsibilities

Sell complete process system and stand-alone machines such as Labellers, handling systems, thermoformers, fillers, inspection systems etc.
Approach new potential clients
Follow up on new/warm leads provided by the business.
Maintain current customer relationships.
Work closely with the marketing team Identify new sales lead
Visit customer sites and host at exhibitions.

Technical sales experience and qualities

Min 5 years selling capital machinery in a field-based role.
Knowledge of fish, meat, poultry, confectionary, dairy manufacturing
Willing to travel some overnight stays.
Happy to travel across Ireland
Good personal and presentation skills
Self-motivated
Packaging machinery knowledge
Technical background (desirable)
