Infrastructure Engineer
My client, an MSP/IT Solutions firm based in Nottingham are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their technical team on a hybrid working basis (3 days in office). Other responsibilities of the role will include providing Service Desk support for escalated issues, covering all levels of support, frequent project work, and resolving technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the IT infrastructure to their client base.
- Participating in project work required by clients.
- Provide technical support for servers and applications on either on-premises or cloud.
- Providing technical support on network infrastructure issues including the security of WAN, LAN, and WLAN.
- Assisting clients with their disaster recovery processes.
- Occasional site visits to clients around the Nottingham area.
Skills/Experience:
- MSP experience is necessary
- Networking configurations and setups (switches and routers)
- Microsoft Servers and Desktops
- Office 365
- Citrix
- VMware
- Veeam
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Intune
- Azure
