Project Engineer

Project Engineer Salary:£35,000 - £40,000 DOE

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Nottingham which is recruiting for a bubbly, ambitious and driven Project Engineer.

The company is a design consultancy company for the Construction & Engineering industry and they are looking for a personable Project Engineer to join the team to help manage large scale projects. The successful Project Engineer will have strong drive to learn and have fantastic communication skills.

Project Engineer responsibilities:

  • Working closely every day with the Head Of Projects to manage the project process.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues when the need arises and escalate appropriately as needed.
  • Maintain timelines and target dates in the Project Management Database.
  • Organise and facilitate project planning, daily meetings, reviews, retrospectives and client meets.
  • Ensure the business is practicing the core principles of collaboration, prioritisation, team accountability and visibility.
  • Client Liaison

Project Engineer Competencies:

  • UK Drivers license
  • The successful applicant will require strong communication & client servicing skills
  • Customer liaison '' Experience being that key point of contact to a customer throughout a project's journey.
  • Stakeholder management - Conduct regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder's needs and requirements continuously in view.
