Think Recruitment are currently working with a market leading engineering consultancy who, due to continued growth, are looking to recruit an experienced Civil Engineer at either Senior or Principal level.

Our client are a real forward thinking organisation who have built an amazing team over the past 10 years, delivering a variety of interesting and technically challenging projects for clients across the UK. In order to continue to delivering these schemes they are looking for a Civil Engineer to take a lead role in the technical responsibility for civil engineering design delivery and act as Project Manager / Design Manager for the business's consultancy services, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.

With a proven background in consultancy or a related field, the successful candidate will assist with the development of fee proposals & bids, and new project lead generation, manage project change control and negotiate fee variations with clients, supervise and mentor junior members of staff whilst also offering pro-active advice in relation to problem solving issues and consult with clients, other staff members, and statutory bodies including Building Control, NHBC, Planning Authorities, Highway Authorities, Environment Agency, Statutory Undertakers etc.

Utilisation of various computer software programs such as Civils 3D, PDS or Site 3D, Microdrainage or Flow and AutoCAD is required along with the ability to maintain high technical standards consistent with the project design brief.

You will also be responsible for the preparation of detailed technical reports, calculations and drawings, develop concept designs and be actively involved with all projects under your direction and undertake site visits associated with inspections and/ or site investigation works.
