The position is for a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer located in Nottingham City Centre, offering a salary of up to £50,000 plus package benefits.
Emtech is collaborating with a medium-sized multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy seeking a permanent addition to their team.
The role provides an opportunity for career advancement under the Civils Director, with the possibility of considering Principal Engineer level candidates.
Candidates should have experience in private sector projects, including estate road design, junction design, and drainage design, among others.
A minimum of several years of relevant experience in civil engineering is expected, along with strong technical and client-facing skills.

Senior / Principal Civil Engineer

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Salary: Up to 50k + package benefits

Emtech are working with a medium size multi disciplinary Engineering Consultancy who are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The company have grown significantly this year and work with a range of UK wide clients. This is a role working underneath the Civils Director with clear room to progress, Prinicipal Engineer level is also being considered.

They are currently working on a range of schemes across residential, retail, warehouses and commercial projects so ideally you will have previous private sector experience.

Technical Experience Required:

Estate road horizontal and vertical design to local authority or DMRB standards (S278 / S38 and private works)
Junction design (roundabouts, traffic signals, priority and/or grade separated junctions etc)
Design of external works to commercial developments (service yards, car parks etc)
Drainage design to building regs and water company 'Sewers for Adoption' standard (S104, S185 diversions etc)
Civil 3D, Site 3D or PDS for highway design
WINDES / MICRODRAINAGE for drainage design
Team management and project management experience
Client facing individual
