Our client a leading Building and Civil engineering contractor are current looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team based in the East Midlands to cover Nottinghamshire. They provide building and Civil engineering services to the private and public sectors across the UK. They specialise in educational, residential and industrial markets. They are currently working on some exciting project the Site Engineer will be working on a residential scheme with extensive groundworks.

It is desirable for the Site Engineer to have a degree in a construction related discipline as well as 5 years + experience in the industry. This is a great opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a team with great progression opportunities.

Senior Site Engineer Position Overview

  • Provide the interpretation and clear communication of construction drawings.
  • Report to the Contracts Manager
  • Responsible for ensuring that the setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site
  • Earthworks, drainage, foundations and substructure works

  • Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met

Senior Site Engineer Position Requirements

  • Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering discipline
  • 3 years experience in similar role.
  • Experience within the residential sector
  • Extensive groundworks knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Valid relevant site cards
  • Show initiative and accountability for a project from start to finish
