Site Engineer

We are looking to grow our project delivery team and recruit a Site Engineer to cover our projects across the East Midland, initially focusing on a project in Sleaford (Lincolnshire) for 12 months and perhaps Nottinghamshire thereafter. The successful candidate will carry out engineering duties across multiple projects accurately, demonstrating the highest health and safety standards, and have commercial awareness to ensure work is carried out within budget.The key responsibilities are:

  • Monitor and check accuracy of supply chain partners setting out
  • Review works in progress and completed
  • Report any tolerancing issues to the site team
  • Contribute towards the package quality plans
  • Work with the site team to identify focus for future visits.
  • Upholding our HSE standards and reporting any issues to the site team
  • Ensuring we comply to the design drawings and specifications, reporting back to the site team via survey output drawings
  • Upload any site survey to relevant systems such as 4projects and sharepoint.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential:

  • Good demonstrable standard of written and spoken English.
  • Good standard of Microsoft programmes and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in the use of modern surveying and setting out instrumentation.
  • Appropriate CSCS card.
  • Minimum relevant level 4 qualification (HNC / NVQ4 etc).
  • Driving license

Desirable:

Working towards MCIOB or ICE
