Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analysing structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and meet all regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, project management skills, and proficiency in various design software.

Duties

  • Develop and design structural systems for various projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.
  • Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools such as Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, and MicroStation.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
  • Manage projects from conception through to completion while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Perform site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and interns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in structural design software including Mathcad, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, CAD, and MicroStation.
  • Excellent mathematical skills with a strong understanding of engineering principles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) licence or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
