We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected Asbestos company. They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Asbestos Surveyor, to cover a wide range of commercial, domestic, public sector and healthcare client sites. Applicants will be required to travel as company needs fluctuate, so applicants will need to be flexible and be comfortable with travelling independently to sites. They are offering great further training opportunities as well as excellent salaries and packages.
Our client can consider candidates who are based around: Nottingham, Beeston, Ilkeston, Derby, Castle Donington, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Leicester, Mansfield, Matlock, Chesterfield, Worksop, Dronfield, Lichfield, Rugeley, Tamworth, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Coventry, Lutterworth, Solihull, Cannock, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Stourbridge, Redditch, Rugby.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Will have a successful history of undertaking Asbestos Surveys across a range of sites
- Good understanding of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
- Able to complete thorough written survey reports
- IT literate, and must be able to use Microsoft Office applications
- Flexible to travel as needed
The Role:
- You will be completing Asbestos Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys in accordance with industry guidelines
- Collecting ACM samples and bagging safely to transport to the laboratory for analysis
- Conducting re-inspections
- Writing detailed survey reports, including floor plans
- Providing thorough technical advice and project updates to clients
- Supporting the training of new members of staff
- Delivering ad-hoc Asbestos Awareness training courses
- Maintaining high levels of customer service
