Dynamite Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Fire and Security Engineer for a full-time, permanent position in Nottingham.
The role requires candidates to have a technical mindset and a willingness to learn quickly in a practical environment.
This position offers a starting salary of £24,000 during training, which increases to £30,000 plus bonuses upon completion of a 6-month training program.
Successful candidates will receive mentorship from experienced engineers and will engage in both theory and practical work related to fire and security regulations.

This business grows through acquisition and has made a real stamp in their industry. For the last few years they have been running an Academy that allows for candidates with a technical skill set and competence to train as a Fire and Security Engineer with the right support from highly qualified Engineers and theory support to understand the regulations of the industry - giving you the tools to be successful!!What they are looking for:

Someone who is technical minded and can learn quickly in a practical setting
Someone who is hungry to have a career with a business who always supports and develops their people
Someone who is organised and enjoys customer interaction

What the role offers;

You will shadow, and train with some of the best fire and security engineers in the industry
A mixture of theory and practical work to ensure you are also learning the compliance and regulations side of the industry
An allocated Training Manager that will nurture you through the training programme of 6 months (can be longer if required)
A starting salary of £24k whilst in training which will increase to £30k plus bonuses after the completion of training!!!

What happens when you have passed your training?

The ability to manage your own diary for the month offering you a healthy work life balance
Attending different commercial sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, faults and repairs of fire and security systems (fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lights)
Identifying faults and carrying out the fault finding to find the route cause
To be apart of a call out rota
To travel around your designated postcoded area ensuring sites are compliant to the British Standards
