About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual with a strong passion for sales to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Profit Centre Manager, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining customer relationships while driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engaging with potential customers through outbound calls
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Providing top quality customer service and support
  • Preparing and processing quotations and sales orders
  • Assisting customers at the trade counter
  • Following up on quotes and converting them into orders
  • Proactively reaching out to customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Supporting the team with general office and trade counter duties

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven sales experience
  • Electrical Wholesale experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and numerical skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above), including English and Mathematics
  • A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential

Trade Counter Duties

  • Assisting customers at the trade counter
  • Stocking and displaying additional profitable products
  • Ensuring the trade counter is clean and well-organised
  • Organising promotions and customer events
