Renewable Energy Sales Representative 

Salary - £25K-£35K (OTE £50K)

We are recruiting for a renewable energy company that specialises in solar PV and low-carbon heat pump installations. To support their continued growth, the business is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Representative to join the team. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a well organised and driven individual, with existing sales experience, to take up a new permanent role to help maximise the lead generation campaigns and increase sales. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be working with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and develop renewable energy proposals that deliver cost effective green solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to join this diverse industry, further your career in sales and be part of a rapidly growing business. 

Role and responsibilities

-    Following up leads generated by lead generation activities and organic channels 

-    Contacting potential customers as part of outbound business development activity

-    Discussing customer requirement to qualify potential customers for site visits and surveys

-    Carrying out pre-sales surveys and site visits

-    Specifying solar PV, battery, EV and heat pump systems with the support of technical teams

-    Following up on proposals with potential customers

-    Being an ongoing point of contact for customers during their installation and for repeat business

Key requirements (qualifications and skills)

-    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

-    Enthusiastic, disciplined and well organised

-    Proven track record in sales

-    Full drivers licence

-    Existing experience of the construction industry would be advantageous
