As a CNC Machinist - Miller, you will be responsible for operating and setting up large CNC machines such as DMG DMC 160U, WFL 120 / WFL 65, and MAZAK E500. You will play a key role in manufacturing and machining precision components, adhering to tight tolerances, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production process.
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience working with large CNC machines, such as DMG DMC 160U, WFL 120 / WFL 65, and MAZAK E500.
- Strong ability to read technical drawings and accurately measure components.
- Experience working to tight tolerances and using measurement tools.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine setup.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with the willingness to receive further training.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A valid passport and ability to undergo a DBS check as part of the application process.
Your tasks will include:
- Operating CNC milling machines, including DMG DMC 160U, WFL 120 / WFL 65, and MAZAK E500.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to produce accurate components.
- Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerances.
- Basic programming and machine adjustments.
- Ensuring a high standard of work, while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
