Electrical Contract Manager (Building Services)

I am recruiting for a self-motivated Electrical Contract Manager who can competently run Design + Build projects from start to finish. My client is a long-standing and respected Electrical Contractor who are based in Nottingham, with projects nationwide. They are over 20 years established and have built their reputation on quality. They work mainly across high-end Commercial projects and support progression from within. This is a fantastic opportunity the right candidate.

Electrical Contract Manager - Responsibilities

• Involvement in pre-construction activities including pre-start validation, management of the design process, site set-up and production of RAM's/CPP's.
• Managing the day-to-day progress of the projects including recording progress against the project programme and recording any delays, seeking to mitigate where possible.
• Be involved in the commercial success of the project from agreement of procurement/buying schedule with the estimating team through reporting and substantiating Variation/Changes, producing interim applications and the Final Account.
• Work with the Directors to develop the design to meet the Employers Requirements and ensure works on site can progress.
• Management of the commissioning, close-out, and handover process for the project(s) through close liaison with the commissioning specialists and site teams.

Package

• 50,000 - 60,000 annual salary
• + Car Allowance or Company Car
