We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of a care home in Nottingham. This is a fantastic freelance opportunity with a well-respected commercial contractor, offering 60 weeks of work on an exciting and rewarding project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the care home build, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Leading weekly programme meetings to track progress and address challenges.
  • Managing and maintaining Health & Safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team.
  • Using IT systems to manage project documentation and reporting effectively.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in managing care home construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and their application on-site.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of leading programme meetings with confidence.
  • IT literate and proficient in using project management tools and software.
  • A proactive leader who takes ownership of challenges and delivers results.

Qualifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CSCS Card (Black/Gold preferred).
