Project Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke components within the automotive industry, based in the Nottingham area. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team.
Project Engineer Position Overview
- Delivering projects in line with timescales and budgets
- Maintaining a point of contact with customers and offering technical support
- Estimating project timescales and resource requirements
- Leading the build of prototypes
- Problem solving with tools such as 8D
- Producing 2D CAD drawings
- Running project meetings to liaise on project milestones
- Producing design solutions with the CAD team for fixtures and tooling
Project Engineer Position Requirements
- Understanding of advanced product quality planning
- Previous background within project engineering
- Previous experience with 2D / 3D CAD, ideally Catia
- Understanding of GD&T principles
- Knowledge of Press Tooling is desirable
- Full UK Driving License
Project Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £30,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week. Flexible start & finish times.
