We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our repairs and maintenance team, working in both void and tenanted properties to enhance and maintain the appearance of housing stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works
- Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating by removing old paint
- Apply a variety of finishes, including paint, wallpaper and varnish
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards
- Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in painting, wallpapering, and surface preparation
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Comfortable working in both void and tenanted properties
The hourly pay rate for this role is 20.37 Ltd (PAYE equivalent 17.37 Inclusive of holiday).
