With a supportive working environment and a business-focused approach, the firm offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Commercial Property Paralegal or Newly Qualified (NQ) Solicitor to join their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial Property Paralegal or NQ Solicitor, you will support the commercial property team in managing a variety of complex transactions. Your key duties will include:

  • Assisting with the sale, purchase, and lease of commercial properties, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial units.
  • Supporting the management of commercial property finance, lease renewals, and acquisitions.
  • Conducting due diligence, including title and lease reviews, and liaising with clients, surveyors, and other stakeholders involved in the transaction.
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial leases, licenses, and other related legal documentation under the supervision of a solicitor.
  • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, Land Registry requirements, and other legal standards.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and managing client expectations through regular communication.
  • Assisting in handling complex property issues, such as rights of way, restrictive covenants, and property development matters.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in commercial property law is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of commercial property transactions and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience using property case management systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
