Temporary Administrator Position - until end of March 2025 with probable extension

Brook Street are very excited to be recruiting for the MOJ within Nottingham City Centre.

The role is temporary but are due to last until the end of March 2025, with possible extension.

It is predominantly call centre based and the successful candidate will be working on inbound and outbound calls with the public, pursuing monies owed and not paid in respect of warrants of control issued in proceedings before the Civil County Court and Family Court.

The ideal candidates will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Your bright, friendly and courteous nature should shine through, along with your initiative and good written communication skills.

Customers calling the centre are often in a difficult and stressful situation and therefore great importance is placed on handling calls with empathy and understanding.

Candidates will be in regular contact with court staff at other HMCTS sites across the Midlands in relation to processing civil and family work. As well as the updating of the Court Records IT system, with the speedy and accurate recording of payments and updates to records and maintaining standard operating procedures in relation to financial controls.

This is a fast-paced position that requires an individual to be able to multitask and move from one call to another quickly.

Required Skills

  • Good accurate typing/data entry skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good strong working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also able to work independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload

Full training will be given.

The contact centre offers a service between 8:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, and contact agents are required to work between these times on a scheduled basis. Working as part of a flexible team, you will be expected to undertake a range of the functions and responsibilities specified and may be required to work in the County Court Administration Office, Nottingham.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 37hrs, 11.88 per hour with paid holidays and pension option.
