Credit Controller Nottingham £25,000 to £30,000 + Hybrid Working

We are working with a well-established organisation in Nottingham that is looking for a motivated Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the credit control process, build relationships with clients, and contribute to the smooth running of a busy finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the sales ledger and ensuring prompt collection of outstanding payments.
Developing strong relationships with clients to negotiate payment plans and resolve account issues.
Investigating and resolving invoice queries or discrepancies efficiently.
Monitoring aged debt and preparing regular reports for senior management.
Collaborating with internal teams to streamline invoicing processes and maintain accurate records.

What Are They Looking For?

Previous experience in a Credit Control role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a client-focused approach.
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in accounting software and solid Excel knowledge.
