Salary: £30,000 p/a

Hours: Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm

Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a friendly finance team, within the education sector based in Nottingham on 6 months fixed term contract

As the Credit Controller you will be supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.

Main duties of Credit Controller will be:

  • Chasing aged debt
  • Cash collection within terms
  • Raising weekly debt reports
  • Negotiating and agreeing payment terms
  • Taking debit/ credit card payments
  • Producing arrears letters
  • Dealing and resolving queries

Ideal Candidate should have:

  • Experience of Credit Control
  • AAT or equivalent would be an advantage
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • Hold current DBS
