Data Analyst | Contract | INSIDE IR35 | 9 Months | Financial Sector

I am collaborating closely with a client in the financial sector who is seeking to hire a Data Analyst. They are looking for someone to come in and be responsible for supporting the design, development and maintenance of their data pipelines, data products and infrastructure.

Location: Nottingham, 2x per week

Rate: Up to £360 per day INSIDE IR35

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:

Data Visualization: Build Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability using dbt.
Version Control: Manage code and collaborate using Git.
Collaboration: Work with stakeholders (engineers, leaders, operations) to meet data needs.
Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for workflows and processes.
SQL: Write complex queries and perform ETL tasks for data integration.
Data Pipelines: Support ETL pipelines to consolidate data into the Data Lakehouse and products.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years in data analysis or similar roles.

Technical Skills:

Advanced SQL and Power BI expertise.
Familiarity with data warehousing, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
Awareness of Dremio and AWS tools (S3, Glue).
